Legend of the Five Rings (3rd Edition)

A roleplaying game set in the Emerald Empire, where bushi wield twin swords, shugenja command mystical powers, and courtiers navigate political intrigue. Characters face internal clan conflicts, threats from the Shadowlands, and the demands of honor. The system uses a roll-and-keep mechanic, rolling a skill and its associated attribute before keeping a number of dice based on the attribute. It details the Empire’s clans and includes more than forty character schools, following the setting’s ongoing metaplot.
