At Villers Cottérêts: Mons 1914

A grand-tactical battalion-scale wargame depicting a rearguard action during the Battle of Mons in 1914. A heavily outnumbered British brigade must delay two German divisions while another friendly force arrives to cover the retreat. Turns represent 30 minutes from 06:30 to 14:00, with each strength point equaling approximately 100–250 rifles. Command and control is central: units must remain in communication to cooperate or concentrate fire. The game includes a standard map, 140 counters, rules, and possibly player aids and dice.
