Players cultivate fields to collect goods, build shrines, recruit priests, and sacrifice harvested goods to appease gods and ancestral spirits. A central display of cards dictates available actions: when a card is chosen, the card beneath it is revealed and can alter the situation for everyone. Priests both assist in sacrifices and repel demons that threaten the island. Scoring balances construction, successful sacrifices, and managing risks; two optional variants add a demon that stirs trouble and an oracle that influences choices.
