Players draft and place room tiles to sketch a castle floor plan on their personal sheets, flipping tiles to reveal different room shapes and features. As rooms connect through completed entrances, players gain abilities such as modifying entrances, drawing bonus cards, or taking extra turns. Public goals and the monarch’s favors award points for meeting specific design criteria, while creating courtyards and surrounding moats yields additional scoring opportunities. The game combines spatial planning and engine-building as players compete to produce the most valuable layout by the end of the game.
