Darwin's Choice: Before and After

Players draft and combine animal traits from a large pool of cards to build species and place them into varying biomes. Each biome has distinct requirements and food availability, and species score Darwin points for how well their traits match local conditions and for competitive strength against other players. Play proceeds through several eras during which biomes and event cards alter conditions; players adapt existing species via mutations or migrate them to different zones to survive changing environments. The expansion adds over 240 prehistoric and human-influenced cards that introduce dinosaurs, prehistoric taxa, human-made events and territories, increasing variability and strategic choices.
