Humanity’s thousand-year Empire faces dwindling resources, internal unrest, and ancient enemies joining forces against it. Players take on asymmetric roles in a conflict spanning the galaxy: the Empire works to restore its dominance, the Usurper seeks to replace dictatorship with rule by the people, the Rival leads an alien coalition driven by revenge, and the Captain explores distant worlds while building fame through recorded exploits.
