Players command opposing air forces—Egyptian and allied units versus Israeli forces—managing sorties that range from close air support for ground troops to deep strikes into enemy territory across a map stretching from the Sinai to the Nile. The system adapts an established air-combat engine to the Canal theater and models period weaponry and defenses, including surface-to-air missiles (SA-3, SA-6), man-portable SAMs, self-propelled AAA, and cruise missiles, with counters representing the principal aircraft types and air defense systems of the southern front.
