Players choose four actions each turn to develop their holdings, manage resources, and pursue different strategies for victory points across five epochs. This big-box edition includes the base game along with Alter Ego, Seals & Sirens, and Windmills & Catapults. The Kickstarter edition also includes stretch-goal components such as additional cards, markers, wooden vessels, a progress die, and other upgraded accessories.
