Fief: France 1429 – Crusades

Players portray noble families in 15th-century France, expanding dynastic power through warfare, diplomacy and vassalage. This expansion adds a crusading option: the Pope or a Cardinal can call for a Crusade, sending lords and military orders abroad to seize foreign fiefs. New units, cards and a campaign map represent crusader armies, Templars and Teutonic Knights and the opposing forces led by Saladin. Players may cooperate to mount crusades for prestige and territory, but must manage risks and combat outcomes while balancing home-front obligations and existing rivalries.
