Exploration, commerce and piracy on a changing map of unknown seas. Players reveal new territories, navigate between them, rescue castaways, recover buried treasures and underwater finds, establish merchant ports, and trade spices. Pirates and changing weather affect each voyage, while explorers may also plunder one another. Each turn, players expand the map, determine weather and trading conditions, then sail during the navigation phase. Points come from exploration, trade and colonisation, with the highest total determining the winner. The first player changes according to position on the map, while pirates are controlled in turn and continually alter the strategic situation.
