Players compete in trick-taking rounds to claim treasures by playing power cards. The treasure’s victory value is revealed only to the dealer, while other players estimate its value based on the dealer’s played card. The winning power card also becomes negative points, creating a risk in every contest. The winner becomes the next dealer and can inspect both the treasure won and the next treasure. Players with negative points become cultists of the Old One. If at least one player remains unaffiliated, aid can be called to stop the cultists; if all players become cultists, the player or players with the most negative points win.
