High Season: Grand Hotel Roll & Write

Players run a Viennese hotel across seven rounds, preparing rooms, accommodating guests, hiring staff and courting the emperor while managing money and avoiding loans. Each round, dice are rolled and placed on numbered action spaces; players draft a die and resolve its action with strength equal to the number of dice on that space. Actions let players prepare rooms, occupy prepared rooms for one-time bonuses, advance on the emperor track for rewards and endgame points, earn currency, or hire staff whose effects vary by board. Players score bonuses for first-to-complete rows or columns, for filling contiguous color groups, and for staff endgame points; final scoring compares occupied rooms, emperor standing, bonuses and cash.
