Hordes

This tabletop wargame uses the same core ruleset as its sister game but shifts the setting from steampunk to savage, tribal conflict. Players field warlocks and massive warbeasts instead of warcasters and warjacks, building forces around the bond between mage and creature. Factions represent distinct primal cultures—trollkin, serpentine empires, draconic cults, nature-worshipping circles, feral pigfolk and marsh-dwelling gators—each with unique units and tactics. Combat resolves with scenario objectives, model activation and warlock-driven abilities, while army construction and warbeast management shape strategic play. It is fully compatible with the related rule system for inter-game play.
