Land vs Sea

Players build a shared map by placing double-sided hex tiles that show mixes of land and sea. One side of each tile is revealed and the other remains hidden until played, creating partial information and occasional surprises. Two-player games pit Land against Sea; each scores points by completing contiguous land or sea areas respectively, earning one point per tile in a completed area. Some tiles carry bonus scoring, trigger an extra play, or allow stealing an opponent’s tile (not their last), so players balance completing their own areas with denying or exploiting rivals’ opportunities. Tiles are replenished from two face-up stacks. Optional scoring modules add Mountain/Coral chains, Caravan/Ship trade-route majority scoring, and placeable Waypoints for extra strategy. The game ends when the last tile is placed; highest score wins.
