Lost in R'lyeh

Players are trapped in the mythic sunken city where ancient dread stirs and escape is uncertain. The game follows a progression from discovery and mounting dread to a final rush for escape as a monstrous presence awakens. Each turn players choose between advancing calamity by playing event and horror cards or working toward escape by reducing their escape card array. Cards are played in sets: larger sets unlock stronger abilities and shifting tactics. Players may also pick up the discard stack to reshape their options, balancing short-term power against the long-term goal of getting rid of cards. The last player left unable to leave the city suffers the final fate.
