As summer ends, ant colonies prepare for winter by gathering food, expanding their tunnels, and growing their populations while predators threaten the glade. Players take turns playing ants, introducing predators, or hatching new ants to collect shared resources and complete objectives. Colonies compete for the same dwindling supplies, while watching opponents’ plans and avoiding predators. The game ends when a player completes six objectives or no resources remain; the player with the most points from completed objectives wins. A game takes about 15 minutes for 2–4 players.
