Players compete to build a fungal kingdom by growing mushrooms, spreading spores, and shaping a shared mycelial network. Turns consist of two actions chosen from six options, including growing, sporing, decaying to trigger special effects, stealing spores, and blocking opponents. The modular board uses triangular habitat tiles with different nutrients; players add tiles during play so the landscape continually expands and changes. Multiple paths to victory support tactical and evolving play styles, from aggressive spore theft and disruption to defensive area control. Artwork draws on botanical-style illustrations and features many real mushroom species.
