Five bloody tactical-level battles from Napoleon’s 1812 campaign against Russia, covering the fighting from Smolensk to Moscow and the retreat. Scenarios include Smolensk, Valutino, Shevardino, Borodino, and Maloyaroslavets. The game uses a common system for Napoleonic battles, with hexes representing 480 meters, turns covering one hour, and strength points representing 400–800 men. Individual battles last about 22 turns, while a full campaign links the scenarios.
