The formative political event of the early church, treated with dumb jokes and petty rivalries. In 325, bishops gather at Constantine’s demand to settle theological disputes and give the Roman Empire a united church. Players commit to sides in competing debates, predict which position the majority will support, and score points through shifting alliances and political influence. The highest score usually wins, but the player with the fewest points can instead prevail by gathering enough influence to cause a schism. The game combines tableau building with shared incentives, social dynamics, and an irreverent take on the First Council of Nicaea.
