Players lead a civilization and make simultaneous choices that shape its long-term development. Cards represent technologies, leaders, philosophers, builders, armies and other resources; players play and manage those cards to advance Science, Military, Spirituality, Culture and Industry, grow Population, construct Wonders, and resolve global Challenges. Simultaneous action selection creates continual repercussions from the first turn, while resource and card management drive variable strategies and outcomes.
