Settlement

Players lead a band of settlers exploring newly discovered lands, using artifacts to reveal terrains, hunt monsters, and establish buildings and outposts. Each round, players allocate settlers and resources to one of seven actions—construct buildings, explore terrain, hunt, build outposts, or activate regions, streets, or outposts—and may spend resources to recruit heroes who score points and sometimes grant extra settlers. Play proceeds over six rounds with rotating turns; rounds end when all players pass, exchanging artifacts as they do. Victory points come from hero cards and buildings, and the highest total at the end determines the winning settlement.
