Specter Ops: Broken Covenant

Players take opposing roles in a one-versus-many stealth hunt inside an abandoned corporate research facility. One player controls a lone covert agent who moves hidden around the board, attempting to complete secret objectives and evade capture using gadgets, movement options, and noise management. Two to four other players act as hunters who coordinate searches, use special abilities, and interpret limited information to deduce the agent’s position and intercept them. The game emphasizes deduction, hidden movement, and asymmetric abilities as the agent balances risk and progress while the hunters combine teamwork and tracking to close in.

Having played Letters From Whitechapel quite a bit in the past, I decided to go for a different Hidden Movement game with more interaction between the hunters and hunted, but not as long as Fury of Dracula. It's easy to win as the ARK agent at 4 thanks to having 5 very powerful card abilities even having the hunters very close. At 3, it also seems to favour the agent. Haven't tried at 5 yet. The tension is great! The production is very good with a couple issues: - There are more options for ARK agents and hunters compared to the original game, but the minis of the original ones are not in the box. - There are five mistaken squares on the board. I ordered the replacement stickers to Plaid Hat and they arrived for free, albeit a bit dry and hard to take out now at least it's corrected!
