Players take on the role of apprentice dungeon architects carving a perilous labyrinth into the base of a mountain. The game uses simultaneous card-drafting and tableau-building to expand each player’s dungeon one chamber at a time. Each round players draft and play room cards to match a personal blueprint and meet various scoring challenges, such as creating a continuous path, placing specific features, or collecting treasures. Between rounds gold can be spent to add monsters, traps, treasures, and secret passages that modify scoring and interaction. After a fixed number of rounds, the dungeon with the highest danger and scoring fulfillment wins.
