Yōkai Quest

Players cooperate as distinct hero archetypes—samurai, monk, gunslinger, priest and others—each with unique movement, attack values and selectable ability decks that tailor defensive, supportive or offensive roles. The table features chibi-style miniatures fighting waves of yōkai drawn from Japanese folklore. Enemies act according to behavior cards and spawn from fixed points in quantities determined by an enemy deck. Play alternates between hero and yōkai turns on modular tiled boards across staged scenarios. Objectives vary by scenario—eliminate specified foes, survive for a set time, then advance toward a final boss that must be defeated to complete the mission.
