Zomax

A two-player strategy game uses a double-sided, hinged metal board and magnetic tanks, ships, and planes to depict a nation in turmoil. Players secretly place their units and a capitol, then take turns rolling dice and distributing the resulting movement points among any combination of pieces. Opposing magnets repel one another, knocking pieces off the board and ending movement, while mines destroy units that contact them. The first player to reach the capitol wins.

Pretty good game. The magnet idea is neat but doesn't always work quite right...you can sense the magnetic field when you are about to land on the other guy. So it requires both players to be honest. This kind of reminds me of the 1960's game Radar Search but on steroids.
