Pick a Pen: Schatzkammern

Players roll five colored pencils and draft them to mark spaces on individual crypt-themed player sheets. Each turn the active player rolls the pencils, selects one to use and marks spaces left-to-right on a row; other players then draft remaining pencils in turn and follow the same action. Pencils show different symbols on their sides, and the symbol revealed on the chosen pencil determines which spaces or symbols can be filled. Completing a row lets a player color a symbol, with bold-framed symbols granting an extra fill when matched to the pencil color. Additional bonuses are awarded for three same-color spaces in a row/column or for placing every color in a row/column. The game ends when a player fills all symbols on their sheet; highest score wins. Three difficulty levels of player sheets provide varying bonuses and effects.
