Set during the 1896 Klondike Gold Rush, the game casts players as prospectors searching for valuable claims across the Yukon. It includes two distinct game variants for two to four players. In one variant, players develop four landscape boards in sequence, collecting gold nuggets for victory points and spending rubies to acquire claim tokens through auctions. The first player to reach the far end triggers the end of the game, but the richest prospector wins after penalties are resolved. The other variant is a real-time tile-placement game. Players race to place a set of uniquely shaped claim tokens in response to changing requests from four town VIPs, gaining or losing popularity based on the gold and rubies they uncover.
