Kuro Tensei

A mysterious island rises from the Pacific Ocean near Japan, bringing typhoons, a supernatural red storm, and a gateway to the land of the dead. Oni and Yokai spill into a country caught in an occult war, while people descended from ancient spirits awaken to their heritage. Players create heroes serving the Emperor and use Ki swords, ritual incantations, o-fuda, and other powers to battle supernatural enemies and close the gates to Yomi. The setting includes new character abilities, an overview of war-torn Japan, formidable foes, and three complete scenarios.
