Car Wars (Fifth Edition)

Players take control of armed vehicles in highway combat scenarios, moving models on a larger 1/60 scale grid for simplified positioning and clearer movement resolution. Gameplay focuses on tactical driving and vehicular combat: choosing maneuvers, shooting weapons, and managing damage to survive and disable opponents. The ruleset streamlines combat for faster play and uses pre-designed vehicles provided in the comic-book sized scenario books; community-sourced construction guidelines exist for optional custom vehicle creation.

fun but cars are too big to play a large fast track (a scale city block barely fits on a x-large game table.) Turns can be slow. (speeds and scale are compatable with d20 systems.)
