CULTivate

Players take the role of competing cult leaders building a compound of follower meeples to complete a personal agenda pattern. On a turn, play cards to recruit followers, reposition meeples in the compound, exchange with the supply, or sabotage rivals. Card effects and recruited followers activate powers that help shape the pattern needed to fulfill an agenda. Random Undercover Investigation cards add investigator meeples that block recruitment and complicate plans. The game ends when a player fills their compound; players then score follower values, completed agenda points, and bonuses to determine the winner.

Lead your cult and gain followers to meet the objectives of your agenda in CULTivate. Select one of the 5 available leaders, choose one of the 3 options on their agenda, prepare the camp board on one of the two sides (depending on the objectives you have set in the agenda) and draw four cards. Taking turns, players use their cards to add followers to their camp and complete the pattern defined in their agenda, exchanging them with those of other players or those of the general reserve, if necessary, and trying not to attract the attention of pesky investigators. When a player has completed their adept camp, the final turn begins. Points will be added for each type of follower, for special actions if they have been activated, and for completed agendas. The researchers at our camp deduct points from us! Whoever has the most points will be the winner and the leader of the most influential cult. We have fallen in love with CULTivate for its art and sense of humour, for the simplicity of its rules, but also for the challenge of achieving personal goals while trying to sabotage those of our rivals. CULTivate is for you if you like: - Games with a sense of humour. The cards and leaders have hilarious text. - Games with high interaction with rivals.
