Firefly: The Game

Players captain a small transport ship and move across a map of planets and systems to take and complete jobs represented by cards. Along the way they hire specialized crew, buy ship upgrades, and load cargo — some of which is illegal and can be seized if boarded by Alliance patrols. Movement consumes full-burn cards and can trigger random events such as encounters with Alliance ships, mechanical breakdowns, or Reavers. Completing jobs earns money, and the first player to reach the scenario’s story goals wins.

    Thematic Space Game about Exploration. You have requests and you have to cross space to make them. Most people say that with expansions the game is even better.
