Players pilot open-wheel race cars around scaled circuits, managing gear selection and speed while navigating tight corners that require a set number of stops in each curve. Movement per turn depends on gear choice but is resolved with dice, introducing randomness to acceleration and braking decisions. The game includes plastic car minis, gear markers, circuit maps and racing sheets; expansions add alternative tracks and championship variants. Play focuses on balancing risk and position as players jockey for the lead while avoiding excessive speed in hazardous sections of the track.
