Ghostel

Players are mischievous ghosts working to reclaim a reopened manor-turned-hotel by frightening living guests out into the night. Play is semi-cooperative: ghosts buy upgrades and favors during a Day Phase, then take turns moving through rooms at Night, rolling Terror dice and leaving dice behind to build up scares. Guests have courage ratings that dice totals must exceed to evict them, and players score based on the highest dice placed in each room while smaller contributions also earn points. Each round cycles Day and Night phases with randomized guests and dice outcomes, encouraging tactical movement, cooperation for tougher targets, and incremental upgrades between nights.
