Minikin City

Players play cards that serve two functions: their color and value determine round rewards and ranking, while icons and effects contribute to endgame scoring. Each round a central set of reward cards designates the best color and awards players based on the cards they win. Players choose cards for value, color or effect, balance short-term rewards against long-term scoring, and collect small worker tokens called Minikins. Minikins are placed on cards, and only cards filled with the required number of Minikins activate their scoring effects at game end. The game combines trick-taking decisions with engine-building as players populate and score a personal tableau of cards.
