Normandy '44

A regimental-level simulation of the D-Day landings and the subsequent 21 days of fighting in Normandy. Players command battalions to brigades across a hex map where each turn represents one day and units move, fight, and perform reserve movement. Combat resolves using troop-quality ratings for infantry and tank ratings for armor, with modifiers from air support, naval gunfire, artillery, and elite German armor. The game offers a 22-turn campaign, a shorter tournament scenario covering the Allied link-up on the beaches, and a focused Cherbourg peninsula scenario, with rules supporting two to four players.
