Players take the roles of rival mob bosses bidding for influence, territory and favors in a city of shifting alliances. Each turn players secretly allocate money, hire operatives, and negotiate deals or betrayals to advance their plans. Rounds proceed quickly with streamlined phases: players roll two dice to resolve actions, reveal bids, and execute hired operatives to seize assets or eliminate rivals. The game emphasizes negotiation, bluffing and opportunistic backstabbing, with compact reference cards replacing player boards for faster play. Designed for about 60 minutes, the revised rules simplify play while remaining compatible with components from the original edition.
