The Big Book of Madness: The Vth Element

This expansion adds two modular systems—Dark Matter and Phobias—that integrate with the base cooperative deck- and dice-management game where players work to close a cursed book before their characters go mad. Dark Matter introduces a new element that spawns a Dark Book, Dark Curses, Dark Monsters and additional magician characters, altering card interactions and threats on the table. Phobias are permanent Madness cards that impose ongoing constraints on affected magicians, changing how players plan and prioritize actions. Modules can be used separately or combined to increase complexity and new tactical considerations.
