Thingstead

Two players compete to be elected chieftain of a small Viking village in 1130 by courting elders and clans rather than fighting. Each turn a player takes one action to manage a hand of cards, influence elders at the Thingstead, and contest control of clan tokens. Play proceeds until a player has locked three elders or the draw deck is exhausted and both players run out of cards. Final scoring sums points from influenced elders and controlled clans; ties are broken by counting followers on elder cards.
