Tactical combat on the East Front in 1941, covering Operation Barbarossa from June through October. Players command historical German or Soviet infantry, artillery, and armored units across varied scenarios and linked campaign battles. Forces are determined through randomly selected Formation Cards, while Command points limit which units can activate each turn. Players plan activations in secret, prioritize objectives, and manage movement and combat with a limit of one unit per hex. The dynamic campaign links four battles around the crossing of the Narew River, with later setups shaped by previous results.
