Reforest

Players build a layered forest tableau by playing plant cards into low, middle, or high elevation rows and discarding other plants as nutrients to pay costs. Each plant has unique traits and abilities that interact to form light engine-building combos and score points. On a turn, a player either gathers cards by drawing from the deck or the face-up nursery, or plays a plant into their tableau, managing limited space and the option to grow taller species over pioneers at reduced cost. At the end of each round, an animal visitor is awarded to the player whose forest best matches its habitat preferences. The game ends when all visitors are placed and players score plants and hosted visitors.
