Focus

This abstract strategy game challenges players to leave their opponents with no legal moves. On a turn, a player moves a piece or stack a number of spaces equal to the stack’s size. Stacks may grow to five pieces; excess pieces are removed from the bottom. Captured pieces matching a player’s color are reserved and can later be re-entered anywhere on the board instead of making a normal move, while opposing pieces remain captured. Players use movement, captures, and reserved pieces to control the board and restrict future options.
