Lawyer Up

An asymmetric two-player card game that pits one attorney against the other in a courtroom contest. Players take the roles of prosecution and defense and work through a case-specific scenario that changes rules and objectives depending on the crime involved. Play begins with a discovery phase where players review and draft evidence into their hands. On subsequent turns, players call and question witnesses by playing cards, chaining matching-symbol cards to build arguments and earn influence. Influence is then spent to shift jury biases and score points toward the side’s legal objective.
