Twixt
Connect opposite sides of the board by placing pegs and linking matching pegs into an unbroken path. Players may add or rearrange their links on each turn, but links cannot cross. The first player to complete a path between their two colored sides wins, while blocking the opponent from completing theirs. After the first peg is placed, the pie rule allows the second player to swap sides.

Chipsmith10.0 One of my very favorite 2-player abstracts. Simple rules, great depth.
