Assemble a band of mercenaries by spending resources to recruit them, then equip them with weapons and skills before sending them into battle. Each mercenary has distinct life, control, skill, weapon, and combat values. Combat uses ranged attacks and close combat, with dice rolls compared against defensive and blocking values to determine hits. Mercenaries can exchange fire before engaging in close combat, where attacks may be blocked.
