Lapsus

Players work cooperatively to communicate secret themes by composing words from syllable cards. Each round, everyone except the interpreter receives a secret theme and a hand of eight syllable cards, then has one minute to assemble a word that evokes their theme. After time, the theme cards are shuffled and the interpreter draws them one by one, assigning each theme card to the player they think produced the corresponding word. Players reveal answers and score based on how many theme–player matches the interpreter made correctly. A competitive variant is included and the interpreter role rotates clockwise each round.
