Players lead a tribe in a post-apocalyptic world, restoring the landscape by planting forests, decontaminating zones, and constructing villages and temples. On a turn, players play cards from hand and send wind riders to explore and gather resources for building and planting. Card effects and playability depend on the backs of adjacent opponents’ cards, so surrounding players’ setups influence available actions. Progression comes from completing objectives that unlock a guide’s special abilities and improve tribe powers. The game ends when a player builds a fifth village, and scoring compares pollution, villages, temples, forest layouts, and other objectives to determine the winner.

Does the Element card I play count toward its own requirements, or do I check my hand before playing?
The card you play always counts for its own requirements, so check your whole hand before playing to confirm you meet the requirement (p.5).
If an effect shows X (for example 8 − X), what does X mean and can the final Water cost drop below 1?
X is the number defined by the requirement on the card, and the final cost cannot be less than 1 Water (p.6).
Can Wind Riders move diagonally, and does moving from the Capital to the Starting tile count as one move?
Wind Rider moves are to orthogonally adjacent tiles only, and the Capital is considered adjacent to the Starting tile, so moving between them counts as one move (p.6).
When I place a Temple by discarding 3 Element cards, do those discarded cards trigger their effects or must I meet their requirements?
No — when you discard 3 Element cards to place a Temple you do not have to meet those cards' requirements and their effects are not triggered (p.7).
How exactly do I build a Village — do I need to fill all Wind Rider spaces and what happens to Wind Riders and Temples on that tile?
When all Wind Rider spaces on a Forest tile are occupied you may flip it to its Village side (one village per turn); remove the Wind Riders from the spaces and return them to your Capital, and any extra Wind Rider or any Temple on the tile stays and is placed back on the Village side after flipping (p.7).
When do I unlock a Guide power and when can I use a Guide card after sliding it under my board?
At the very end of your turn when you meet a Guide Requirement you choose a Guide card and slide it under the right side of your board; each requirement can be met only once and the slid card’s effect can be used beginning on your next turn (pp.10–11).
