7 Wonders (Seconda Edizione): Leaders

Players recruit historical personalities to lead their city, adding a persistent, asymmetric effect for the rest of the game. Each player drafts a small hand of Leader cards at the start and chooses which Leaders to play, paying their cost to activate their ongoing abilities or one-time powers. Leaders include civic, scientific, military and economic figures that modify resource production, provide discounts, alter military scoring, or grant endgame points. The expansion integrates with the base game's drafting and wonder-building: victory conditions do not change, but the Leader choices add new strategic layers and timing decisions to city development.
