Axis Empires: Totaler Krieg!

A large-scale hex-and-counter wargame covering the European theater from the late 1930s through 1945, including interwar and alternate pre-war options. Players take control of one of three factions—Axis, Soviet-aligned, or Western Allies—and mobilize forces, conduct diplomacy, and wage campaigns across multiple maps from Scandinavia to North Africa and from the Iberian Peninsula to the Eastern Front. Play advances through phases (Pre-War mobilization and diplomacy, Limited War opening moves, then Total War all-out conflict). Card-driven events, unit counters, and scenarios let players explore historical and counterfactual paths; the game also supports linking with a companion Pacific game for a combined global campaign.
