Players take the role of members of competing beaver gangs and collect number cards over a series of rounds. Each turn, players add cards to their own tableau aiming to minimize their total score, but sets of matching high-value cards score fewer penalty points when held by multiple players. Hand management, timing of card play, and predicting opponents’ collections determine which combinations are worth keeping or discarding. The game proceeds until a scoring condition is met, and the player with the lowest total penalty points wins.
