You roll 4 dice from your bag per turn. You get some basic starting dice that's mostly mana, and an array of cards along with 20 assorted dice matching those cards in front of you to buy with said mana. Mana comes in a few types, but one die result matching the card you want is enough to allow you to spend however many dice it takes to buy it. The cards each have an ability that you get when you use their dice. The character dice have half their sides as double mana, and half are creatures representing them with a cost (in spending dice) an attack and a def hen it's like magic where you attack and defend but your creatures are dice, and once they combat they return to the discard where they re-roll when you run out of dice in your baggie. I really wish this game wasn't collectible. I really had a great time playing it. I love how they actually got the rights to use the art from the comics. ★ Art, Iconography and components functional ★ Clever or interesting mechanisms ★ Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players ★ Multiple plays stay interesting ☆ Low or mitigatable luck elements ★★★☆☆ Raw enjoyment
